A Birthday Surprise at Home

Today is a special day for Azat, but he does not know it yet. His mother and father are preparing a small birthday surprise for him at home. They put a cake on the table and add simple decorations.

When Azat comes home from school, the lights are off. He walks inside slowly. Suddenly his little sister Maya jumps out and says, “Surprise!” His parents smile and clap their hands.

Azat is very happy. He blows out the candles and makes a wish. His mother gives him a small gift. His father takes a picture with his camera.

They all eat cake together and enjoy the evening.

Azat thinks, “This is the best birthday.”
