A Fun Weekend Together

This weekend, Melek visits her cousins Maya and Kerim. They are close in age and love spending time together. When Melek arrives, the children quickly choose a game to play.

First, they sit on a Turkmen carpet and draw pictures with colored pencils. Melek draws flowers, Kerim draws a house, and Maya draws a tree. They show their drawings to each other and laugh happily.

Later, they play a small ball game in the yard. They run, shout, and enjoy the warm weather. Their aunt brings tea and sweets for them.

As the sun sets, Melek says, “I had a great day.”

Her cousins smile and hug her.
