Aly and the Giant Pumpkin - Iňlis dili Gysga hekaýa

Every autumn, Aly loves visiting his grandmother’s small garden. She grows many vegetables there, but his favorite part is the pumpkin corner. One sunny afternoon, Aly notices something huge hiding under the wide green leaves. When he lifts the leaves carefully, he sees a giant orange pumpkin—bigger than any pumpkin he has ever seen. Excited, he calls his grandmother, and together they check if it is ready to harvest. The pumpkin feels heavy and firm, so they decide to pick it the next day. Aly helps sweep the area around it and removes dry leaves so it stays clean. His grandmother explains how pumpkins grow and how long it takes for them to become big. Aly listens with curiosity. He imagines pumpkin soup, pumpkin bread, and sweet pumpkin dessert. As they walk back home, he feels proud and happy, thinking this might be the best pumpkin of the season.
