Helping a Little Brother

Today Maral is at home with her little brother Aly. Aly has homework from school, but he does not understand one exercise. He looks at his sister and says, “Can you help me?”

Maral smiles and sits next to him. She explains the question slowly. Aly listens carefully. Maral shows him how to write the answer. Aly tries again and writes it correctly this time.

Their mother brings tea and a small plate of sweets. She says, “Good job, children.”

Aly feels happy and says, “Thank you, Maral!”

Maral gently pats his shoulder.

They finish the homework together and enjoy the rest of the afternoon.
