At midday, the school bell rings, and all the students walk to the lunchroom.
Maya and her friend Merjen sit together at a small table near the window.
Sunlight fills the room, and the air smells of warm food.
Maya opens her lunchbox and takes out bread, cheese, and an apple.
Merjen has rice and chicken in her container.
They smile and exchange small pieces of their food.
More students join the table, laughing softly and talking about the morning lessons.
Maya tells Merjen about her reading task, and Merjen listens carefully.
After eating, they clean their table and pack their lunchboxes.
When the bell rings again, everyone stands up and returns to class, ready for the next lesson.
