Mahym and Azat Make Fruit Salad

One sunny afternoon, Mahym and her younger brother Azat decide to make a fruit salad in the kitchen. Their mother is preparing tea, so she gives them a bowl and tells them they can help. Mahym washes the apples and grapes carefully, while Azat peels a yellow banana. He cuts small pieces and drops them into the bowl. Mahym adds red apples, green grapes, and a few slices of sweet melon. The colors look beautiful together.

Azat tastes one grape and smiles.

“It’s so sweet!” he says.

Mahym mixes everything slowly with a spoon. When the salad is ready, they bring it to the living room. Their mother places it on the table and says they did a wonderful job. The whole family enjoys the fresh fruit salad, and Mahym feels proud that she helped prepare something delicious.
