Merjen and the Apple Tree - Iňlis dili Gysga hekaýa

Every morning, Merjen walks to the back of her house, where a tall and beautiful apple tree grows. The tree is full of green leaves and bright red apples that shine in the sunlight. Today, Merjen brings a small basket because she wants to help her mother prepare snacks for the family. She stands under the tree, looks up, and carefully picks the apples she can reach. Some are small and sweet, others are big and heavy. She places each apple gently into the basket so they do not bruise.

When the basket becomes full, Merjen feels proud and happy. She carries it inside and shows it to her mother, who smiles warmly. Together, they wash the apples in a bowl of cool water. As they work, they talk about making apple pie and fresh juice for the evening. Merjen thinks it will be a delicious treat and is excited to help again tomorrow.
