Sitting Together in Class

In the morning, two classmates sit together in their classroom. Arslan takes out his notebook and pencils. Beside him, Maral opens her reading book.

The teacher begins the lesson and says, “Please read page ten.”

Maral looks at Arslan and whispers,

“I forgot my book at home.”

Arslan smiles kindly and moves his book toward her.

“You can read with me,” he says.

They sit close and follow the lines together.

Sometimes Maral points to a word and asks,

“What is this?”

Arslan reads it softly and helps her.

The teacher notices them sharing and smiles.

They enjoy the lesson and feel happy learning side by side.
