Weekend Morning Activities

On weekend mornings, around nine o’clock, Arslan wakes up a little later than usual.

He stretches his arms and listens to the quiet house.

Today is a free day, so he does not need to hurry.

Arslan walks to the kitchen, where his father is reading a newspaper.

His mother is preparing a simple weekend breakfast with fresh bread and jam.

“Good morning,” Arslan says happily.

After eating, Arslan goes outside to the yard.

The weather is warm, and a few birds are singing in the trees.

He waters the small flowers he planted last month.

His little sister, Maya, joins him and watches the water sparkle in the sunlight.

When they finish, the children sit together and talk about their plans for the day.
