Working in the Garden Together

This morning, a young girl named Maya goes outside to help her father in the garden. Her father is watering the vegetables, and Maya carries a small bucket of water.

“Can I help?” she asks with a smile.

“Of course,” her father says kindly.

Maya waters the small tomato plants one by one. She tries to be careful so she doesn’t spill too much water. Her father watches her proudly and says, “You are doing a great job.”

After they finish watering, Maya picks one small flower and shows it to her father. He smiles and says, “The garden grows better when we work together.”

Maya feels happy and enjoys the fresh morning air.
